The Trip duration  to Leh Ladakh on your bike depends on the route  you choose to take and cover all the tourist spots, places and destinations.If you are starting your trip from Delhi, then you can route from Manali or you can fly to Leh and start from there trip to Ladakh.It takes 15-18 days for bike trip from delhi to Ladakh.If you fly to Leh it takes 7-8 days .Depending on the route you choose and places to travel The duration of the trip depends.

 

Rental bikes for Leh ladakh Trip:

It’s a good idea to take a rental bike for your adventurous bike trip.You can get bikes for rent in Delhi and Also Manali.You need to submit required documents to get a bike.So make sure you have all the required documents.In Delhi there are many places where you can get bike for rent at affordable price.But try to select a bike which has more than 250CCs.I suggest Royal enfield, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Duke Bike, CBZ to choose for himalayan trip in Ladakh.The bike rental people holds any original ID of your nationality proof till bike gets returned.Better take a test drive with the bike you selected to have a trip  and also check the functionalities of the bike.

 

Mostly you will travel on a bike for 3500 kms, the bikes will take 35 km per litre. So you need More fuel to travel all the way. Try to carry extra fuel yet there will be fuel stations on the way but better carry some extra fuel.

When you start from Manali, on your way you can find only two fuel stations at Tandi and Upshi/karu.

If you started your trip  from Srinagar then it is easy to find the fuel stations because you came across many fuel stations like Srinagar, Kangan, Sonamarg, Kargil, Mulbekh, Wakha, Khaltsi.

Route1:

Day1 – Delhi to jammu

On the way to Jammu you will cross Ludhiana and Jalandhar.It takes around 10hrs to reach Jammu.The distance will be approx 600kms.

Day2 – Jammu to Srinagar

To Srinagar it takes 7 hrs to reach ,and the distance will be approx 300km.

Day3 – Srinagar

Get charged in Srinagar after a long ride in a hotel and try to book a hotel in advance .

Day4 – Srinagar to Kargil

Start your bike early from Srinagar to Kargil by Sonmarg.This route takes you to Zojila Pass ,Drass(11500ft). Look at all the places to visit in kargil and then stay the night in Kargil.

Day5 – Kargil to Leh

Take a bow for yourself for riding the long way and many more to travel.Start your ride to Leh exploring Alchi, lamayuru, Saraks. You ride up to 210kms.it takes 4 hrs to reach Leh.

Day6 – Leh and Round

Stay at Leh and explore the Leh and around the Leh.try to admire to climate and nature around you. You can see a few monasteries and visit them .

Day7 – Leh – Khardungla – Diskit – Hunder

Day8 – Hunter – Nubra Valley

Day9 – Nubra – Pangong Tso

Day 10 – Pangong – Karu

Day11 – Karu – Sarchu

Day 12 – Sarchu – manali

Route 2:

Day 1 – Delhi  — Manali

Day 2 – manali — Sarchu
